Nanded city has a history that dates back to over 7 centuries. With a population of 4.3 lakh (2001 census), it is the second-largest city in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra state. The city and its immediate region famed for its socio-cultural uniqueness and endowed with the river Godavari and several places of religious monuments/significance is most popular for the Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Gurudwara (Sachkhand Gurudwara), one of the five Takhats of the Sikh religion.
The Nanded-Waghala Municipal Corporation was established in 1997. It is constituted under the provisions of the Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act of 1949 and is governed by the provisions of the 74th Constitutional Amendments Act 1992 (CAA). Its jurisdiction includes the Waghala Municipal Council and the villages of Vasarni, Kautha, Asarjan, Fatehjangpur, and Asadwan.

Project Description
AutoDCR Solution has been implemented for the Building Plan department to have a smooth flow of the file submission of building plans.
Issue and Challenges
There were several issues and challenges like:
- No standard process and systems
- Increase the productivity and decrease the manual ·intervention
- Time-consuming process as it involved multiple handoffs
- No proper information to the citizens
- Malpractices were unavoidable due to a lack of standardization
Solution
SoftTech has implemented the AutoDCR system in NWCMC for the Building Plan department and this system has been successfully rolled out across Nanded City and currently has 30+ users using the system.
